- Do not wear distracting bold-striped blouses
- Avoid using black markers on white dry-erase boards, especially if teaching LD students. Use a soft-brown or soft- gray colored board.
- Print homework on gray paper instead of white, especially if teaching LD students
- Go to my link (on your left) titled “Tips on what can be done to help Irlen clients in school”
- Take a second look at students you or someone thinks are dealing with ADD or are somewhere in the spectrum of autism
- Fight to get permission for students to be allowed to wear a cap with a brim to shield their eyes from fluorescent lighting
- Turn off the fluorescent lights in your classroom, especially if you are a Special Ed teacher!
