Many people who were thought to be dyslexic have been found to be dealing with Irlen Syndrome. However these people are known to be dyslexics or have related conditions and are not diagnosed as having Irlen Syndrome. I just find the list interesting:
One interesting case was that of Winston Churchill. He attended a school where students had to enter based on their scholastic rank. Winston was the last. He had to keep repeating English when the other students were studying Latin. I’d say it paid off in the end based on his extensive writings in the English language.
