I have been asked “How did you hope against all logic that you would resolve your perception issues?”

A DoorI answered that I prayed that one day I would “walk through a door” and find that I have conquered this syndrome. I never knew to call it a syndrome. It had no name. When I put my first lenses in my glasses I effectively walked through that door. I would never have known to say that I had perception issues. I knew how to create this effect in photographs. I just wished my whole visual field could be in focus; and suddenly, after wearing my new rose tint, it was. I was 56 years old. It was wonderful.
