but I could only struggle through a very few pages before I started falling asleep. I knew how to read; I just couldn’t deal with it. I could not remember what I had just read. And when I came back to the book the next night I could not recall what I had read the night before. I have never found any humor when people laugh about reading in order to go asleep. I cringed in Mrs Margaret Hiser’s 6th grade class because she would occasionally ask me to read aloud from our geography text and then ask me questions about what I had just read. I died each time because, although I did not know why, I could not recall the material even though I could read it with ease. Can you relate to such an experience? Please comment.
