Discomfort with busy patterns, particularly stripes
- Discomfort with extreme conditions of bright/dark contrast (i.e. backlighting)
- Poor cursive writing; prefers to print
- Inability to write on a line; unequal spacing
- Inconsistent spelling
- Attention and concentration difficulties
- Lack of motivation in school
- Grades do not reflect the amount of effort expended
- Inability to read music; may play “by ear”
- Problems copying
- Epileptic seizure relating to strobing or pattern glare
